The goal of the new Preference Center is to make it more user friendly for all customers. The users should have a clear overview of the settings/options they can choose from with a clear and easy wording according to Mytheresa guidelines.
Create a user-friendly platform where users can choose between different account/newsletter settings.
KPIs:
Improve usability
Decrease unsubscribe rate
Previous version of Preference Center to be redesigned: user is overloaded with information, which sometimes is not relevant, for instance, in cases when a user wants to unsubscribe.
During the research and ideate phase several user stories were crafted to better empathise with Mytheresa customers.
The following Interaction level user journeys were determined:
Wireframing stage
Email settings and User Account settings were split into 2 tabs - to be relevant for the user’s request.

Tailor your settings to only receive the newsletters that best suits you.

Select user details to change personal data and/or newsletter language.
